Best cannabis seed reviews of October 2022

We have three epic Dutch Passion grow reviews this month. Pamir Gold, a specialist high-altitude cannabis strain, was grown successfully in the desert at 6900 feet (2100m) above sea level. The best-selling THC monster Auto Cinderella Jack delivered a 200g dry harvest from a single plant and Auto Euforia came back from little more than a slug-eaten stick to produce a bumper harvest.

@High_Desert_Outdoor needed some high-altitude cannabis seeds that would cope with the thin atmosphere and difficult conditions encountered when growing at nearly 7000 feet (2100m) above sea level.

Pamir Gold was the perfect choice, selectively bred in the Swiss Alps specifically for this challenging environment. But the results were above expectations, with multi-bloomed plants producing a heavy harvest. Despite the obvious difficulties growing at altitude in cool conditions, the grower was highly impressed with the results from Pamir Gold photoperiod feminised seeds.

• “Pamir Gold was an amazing plant to grow. She grew strong in the arid desert at 6900 feet. Long hot days, cold windy nights with very little humidity (averaging around 20 percent RH).”

• "Very good mold resistance. We had a nice monsoon season towards the middle to end of bloom with some long three-day rains, but no sign of mold or bud rot. The disease resistance was great as I had no real problems with this grow.”

• “This is a great daytime smoke! I smoke a joint and next thing you know I've been chopping firewood for 2 hours. it is uplifting and helps me get s**t done throughout the day. When smoking it at night and watching a movie it makes me giggly but does not put me to sleep. The taste is unique. in a joint it has an almost fruity first taste and the rip finishes almost peppery. Tastes so good with some hash and a little tobacco in a spliff.”
  

The Pamir Gold cannabis seeds were germinated with the wet paper towel method. The two Pamir Gold plants were grown in 25-gallon (110 litre) containers containing living soil.
The outdoor-grown cannabis plants grew vegetatively for around 13 weeks and bloomed for a further 10-11 weeks before being harvested. At this point at least 75% of the pistil (hair) had turned orange and the trichomes were around 10-15% amber.

Auto Cinderella Jack by @BelgianBudtender

@BelgianBudtender wanted a high-performance modern auto to completely fill his 70cm x 70cm tent with thick, heavy blooms. He chose Auto Cinderella Jack, which became a repeat Dutch Passion best seller when she started regularly hitting 25%+ THC levels.

Alongside Auto Skywalker Haze, this makes her one of the most potent autoflowering cannabis strains ever seen by the Dutch Passion team. The grower got his best-ever harvest, despite losing one bloom to mold in his packed tent.

• “This grow was great, both in yield and quality, the genetics really hit it out of the park, thank you Dutch Passion for hosting this contest and providing these seeds for free. I find my yield from this plant insane, especially for an auto, during drying I found a singular cola had mold issues, I threw that flower away and I still broke my previous records”

• “Smoke is classic Jack Herer, reminds me of the old Dutch weed I used to despise, I hated the smell back then, today, it's oddly nostalgic and just classic weed odour. No fruity, sweet or chemical taste like in today’s strains, just plain old Dutch coffeeshop weed. That's what it reminds me of and I love her for it. @BelgianBudtender grew indoors with LED’s from Mars Hydro in clay pebbles using a dripper ring with nutrients from Plagron, Atami and Botanicare. The cannabis seeds were germinated in peat pellets.

The grow took 13 weeks from autoflower seed to harvest with 20 hours of daily indoor light. The most impressive aspect of the grow was the way a single Auto Cinderella Jack vigorously filled the entire grow tent producing numerous heavy blooms and a 230g+ harvest of premium strength buds.

This was an excellent example of a single autoflower seed providing a 10-ounce+ harvest from a small 70cm x 70cm tent with minimal maintenance and effort. Auto Euforia by @OldFord

OldFord produced one of the most remarkable UK outdoor autoflower grows ever seen by Dutch Passion. The Auto Euforia was placed at the guerrilla grow site but was attacked by slugs and almost killed. Only a slug-eaten stalk remained on the plant.

The plant was taken indoors in an attempt to allow it to recover before being returned outdoors for bloom. The result was an unbelievable transformation into a heavy-blooming and super potent plant that produced a bumper harvest despite the initial pest-attack.
