Auto Orange Bud terpenes explosion by The Artist

The Artist is a quality-focussed indoor grower who used a 200W LED to grow a single Auto Orange Bud in a 30 litre airpot using a 1:1 blend of coco fibre and light mix soil. BAC nutrients were used, and the plant was manually fed/watered and allowed to grow naturally with no training techniques.

A 90x90cm tent was used and the Auto Orange Bud was harvested after 11 weeks. The Artist was impressed by both the size of the harvest (128g of hard, dense cured buds) as well as the pungent skunky citrus aroma. The combo of heavy yields, a terpene taste explosion and the stress-busting powerful effects meant that Auto Orange Bud was awarded a maximum 10/10 rating.

@GrowUnit filled his 1.2m x 1.2m (4ft x4ft) tent with a single Auto Orange Bud and reaped a 343g (12 oz) harvest of dry buds for his efforts. Auto Orange Bud is well known for the XXL genetic potential in good conditions and that’s exactly what @GrowUnit provided, with a 300W LED above the plant in bloom (150W in veg) and a large container of drip-fed coco fibre to grow in.

The Auto Orange Bud was topped - the growing tip removed to promote a bushier plant with more side blooms. She was defoliated several times and grown with the SCROG method. The idea behind SCROGing is to keep as many blooms in the optical sweet spot (optimised light levels) as possible.

Stickygreen from the Urban Growers Collective grew 5 Auto Orange Bud plants in a 120x90cm tent (3ft x 4ft) with some new untested LED lights. The plants were grown in 20-30 litre containers of light mix and coco fibre and manually fed/watered.

BioTabs and BAC nutrients were used. Despite the grow lights not spreading light effectively around the edges of the grow, the Auto Orange Buds still managed to produce a respectable 270g of dry buds between them. This grow is a good example of the yields possible for growers with smaller tents that want to grow several well yielding autos in proximity.

• “This was a fun lady to grow, very short plant, but packs on serious weight, these were some of the biggest flowers I’ve grown to date, before they dried, they were about the size of a Red Bull can. She produced very big, thick, sticky and smelly and colourful flowers, when I smell the jars I get strong odours - fruitiness and stinky cheese is the best way I can describe it.
