Ice Cream Haze tested with over 27% THC

Four plants from a recent Ice Cream Haze feminised seed test grow were checked for THC by the independent analytical lab ‘Sativanalisis’. Results showed THC levels of 20% to over 27%.
It’s not often that Dutch Passion see lab tests from 4 different plants with consistently special results like these! Ice Cream Haze, the new cannabis cup winning THC machine from Dutch Passion, continues to impress repeat growers with her fruity/hazy aroma, euphoric high and sweet creamy gelato flavours.
These results cement Ice Cream Haze's reputation as one of the most reliable high-end performers currently available. Below we take a deeper dive into the full terpene and cannabinoid analysis, so you know exactly what to expect if you grow her.
Ice Cream Haze lab-test-analysis (September 2025)
These lab tests showed three very high THC results around 27-25%, with one lower result at 19.68%. Even this lower result should still be regarded as high-grade. Note that official Dutch Government surveys show the average THC level of coffee shop weed is around 14.6%.

Highest THC level: 27.27% THC
Make no mistake Ice Cream Haze is seriously powerful weed. Suited only to the experienced user and far too powerful for the occasional or novice toker.
Solid overall potency range (19.68–27.27%)
Grow a tent of Ice Cream Haze seeds and you can guarantee that almost all will be keepers that you will want to re-veg and grow again!
Ice Cream Haze won the Best Growing Product Cup at The Cannabis Industrie Awards 2024. She is an elite Crockett’s Haze line crossed with Ice Cream Cake by Antonio, an independent European breeder with 40 cannabis cups.
Ice Cream Haze was a collab between Dutch Passion & Antonio. Primarily Ice Cream Haze was about the wild, sweet candy dankness from the illustrious parents - this great taste and the organic breeding process was key factors behind the cannabis cup win. Recent lab testing has shown that THC levels are now regularly above 25% - a rare feat for any strain.
Four seed-grown plants were harvested and buds sent to Sativanalisis for lab testing:
Ice Cream Haze sample #4.B (27,27% THC)
With terpene levels at 0.97%, with 27.3% THC this phenotype packed a real punch. Typical terpene level in average strains are often around 0.5-0.75%. The terpene content of just under 1% in this phenotype is therefore impressive.
Many buy Ice Cream Haze cannabis seeds for the assured potency, 27% THC levels are only achieved by the most brutally powerful and stable lines. But an array of minor cannabinoids is also on show, with CBG (0.6%), CBC (0.4%), CBD, THCV and CBN all present.
Ice Cream Haze sample #4 (26,94% THC)
26.94% THC with CBG (0.84%), CBC (0.36%), CBN (0.24%), THCV (0.17%) and CBD (0.14%) is the full cannabinoid profile in this powerful phenotype. Terpenes were just over 1% (1.03%) showing consistency with the other phenotypes in terms of overall terpene content. These are rare potency levels; many growers would keep such specimens as prized mother plants.
Ice Cream Haze sample #4.1 (25,46% THC)
25.46% THC is impressive; few strains ever record THC levels above 25%. This comes with CBC (0.32%), CBG (0.28%), CBN (0.17%), THCV (0.15%) & CBD (0.08%). Terpene levels are 0.91% - similar to the other phenotypes.
Ice Cream Haze sample #4.3 (19,68% THC)
19.68% THC may not sound too impressive when compared with phenotypes that can hit 27%. But any strain with around 20% THC is strong enough to hit hard. CBG (0.94%), CBC (0.5%), CBD (0.14%), CBN (0.13%) and THCV (0.13%) complete the entourage. Terpenes were 0.97% ensuring a tasty smoke/vape.
Delivering some of the highest THC results for home growers
This grow started with 5 cannabis seeds. Early on, the grower discarded one plant and focussed on the remaining four. Conditions were similar to most modern home growers - a small tent with LED. Grow the finest genetics and you too can look forward to harvests with THC levels approaching 30%!
With the increased interest in Ice Cream Haze, Antonio & Dutch Passion have made regular cannabis seeds available. These will appeal to old school growers as well as smaller breeders looking for fine-quality breeding stock. Below are some top tips to optimise your next harvest.

Breeders tips and expert grow advice
Ice Cream Haze is a stand-out robust, reliable F1 hybrid lovingly crafted from sought-after American genetic lines. She blends potent Haze foundations with outstanding productivity and a dazzling, resin-covered look. Here's some insider-info on Ice Cream Haze genetics and tips to maximise her potential:
Ice Cream Haze leans heavily toward sativa features, with large leaves and the signature cone-shaped frosty buds. Thanks to the Ice Cream Cake influence, you'll see some phenotypes that show more hybrid vibes. This often results in denser flowers and a slightly quicker finish. Expect flowering to finish in 8-10 weeks - that’s swift for a Haze-dominant variety of this quality level.
Indoors, plants typically stretch for 2.5 - 4 weeks after flipping to 12/12 (the cannabis bloom phase). This makes Ice Cream Haze a good candidate for both Sea of Green (SOG) and/or Screen of Green (SCROG) methods. Either can help you unlock heavy harvests. The F1 hybrid energy blazes through with vigorous growth whichever way you grow her
Ice Cream Haze can thrive outdoors too, though she does best in warm, dryer spots like the Mediterranean. Avoid cooler regions to ensure she can finish in time.
In ideal outdoor/greenhouse setups, plants can soar to 3 meters tall (and nearly as broad), cranking out over 1 kg / 2 lbs of dried buds per plant with proper care. Your buds will be blanketed in sparkling trichomes—white, sticky and aromatic. Short-to-medium spacing between the plant nodes allows the branches to pack on weight, with colas fusing into plump, hefty clusters.
Main blooms can stretch 25-50cm/1-2ft when left to grow naturally, they often need support to prevent them collapsing under their own weight. Remember you can control height via topping or fimming (cannabis high-stress training) in the veg growth phase, plus low-stress techniques like LST or SCROG for better control. Ice Cream Haze is tough enough to handle it all and produce deliciously sweet candy buds with banging THC levels, seed after seed.
Use quality, high-power LED light in bloom and do your best to keep the plants near the nutrient and optical sweet spot throughout. Ice Cream haze is equally happy in soil, coco or hydro. However it’s worth noting that she was bred/developed in organic soil conditions and seems to respond particularly well to an aerated soil/coco mix with slow release organic nutrients (such as BioTabs).
BioTabs will allow you to work with the ‘water only’ grow method for much of the grow, greatly simplifying plant management and ensuring the plants thrive in the nutrient sweet spot, free from the hazards of overfeeding, which is perhaps the most common grower error.
Enjoy growing Ice Cream Haze. You will love the spicy, hazy notes combined with a sweet, fruity and creamy Gelato x Wedding Cake terpene profile. The exceptional THC levels speak for themselves making this a well-deserved best-seller.
