Best cannabis seed reviews of August 2022

Auto White Widow by @Further

Auto White Widow is one of Dutch Passion’s most potent autoflower strains. Using the multi-cannabis cup winning genetics from the famous original White Widow, this autoflower seed version takes just 10 weeks to grow and delivers heavy yields of mind-numbingly potent buds.

• “I didn't expect such big plant! Nice and pretty buds, within only 80 days. Taste is hash, wood and earth with some skunk notes. Very powerful effect for a strain with THC levels of 20-23%.”

The pictures and indoor grow details come from @Further who grew a single Auto White Widow seed under 320W of LED in coco fibre with manual watering using Advanced Nutrients and Canna nutrients. Some low stress training (tying down) was performed around weeks 4-5 as the plant was preparing to go into bloom.

The final height of the plant was a surprising 1.3m (55 inches), that’s a little taller than most Auto White Widow’s, but it shows the extreme growth vigour that these fine autoflower genetics produce. Other than the tall growth, no significant issues were seen during the grow.

@Further gave his Auto White Widow buds a 9/10 potency rating and got a dry yield of 23g, that’s little lower than average yield, but the quality of the buds ensured yet another hugely satisfied Auto White Widow fan! Meringue by @TheCannaProphet

Meringue is quite simply one of the best hybrid feminised seeds in the Dutch Passion collection. Meringue is one of the few Dutch Passion strains to be classified with extremely high THC levels which can reach around 25%. Buds rarely get any stronger than that! Meringue is part of the cannabis cup winning USA cannabis seed collection, where loud flavours meet XL yields with banging THC levels fit for the most demanding connoisseur grower.

This is the second Meringue grow from @TheCannaProphet, he previously hauled 300g from a single indoor plant. The smoke quality left such a good impression that he grew her again.

@TheCannaProphet germinated his Meringue feminised cannabis seeds and gave them a long 11-week period of indoor veg growth followed by 9-10 weeks of 12/12 bloom with a 600W LED light. Meringue was grown in coco fibre with added perlite.

The long veg period allowed a particularly large single Meringue plant which produced a staggering 28.9 ounce (813g) dry harvest of genuine Grade-A buds.

That’s over a gram-per-watt and the sign of a real master grower at work, fully in control of the grow room and all associated cultivation variables. Aside from the lip-smacking taste/terpene profile and epic potency, the dense buds also had a beautiful frosted appearance with purple and blue hues.

Night Queen by @HippyHemulen

Night Queen is a pure Afghani Indica strain. She is one of Dutch Passion’s most loved indica strains and is sister to the cannabis cup winning Auto Night Queen best-seller.

She produces compact, bushy plants with heavy yields of dense, frosty buds. Most repeat growers love the heavy, all-conquering stone which produces particularly strong body effects, popular with many medical cannabis growers.

• “If you are indica lover (like me) this is your strain! Couch lock with a relaxed body high - in big amounts you become very sleepy.”
  
  
• “This strain was easy start to finish, I can recommend her for beginners. 2 plants and they were pretty identical in veg, with a small difference in flower but not much. So I think Night Queen is a pretty stabilised strain.”

@Hippy Hemulen grew two Night Queen feminised cannabis seeds under 240W of LED in an indoor grow room. The plants were given 3 weeks of veg growth followed by a brisk 7-8 weeks of bloom. The total grow cycle took just 10-11 weeks from feminised cannabis seed to harvest. One of the benefits of growing fast, solid indica feminised seeds is that the grow cycle is comparable to that from autoflower seeds.

No significant issues were seen during the rapid grow cycle and @HippyHemulen enjoyed a dry harvest of 8.5 ounces (241g) - excellent work for a 2-plant grow in just 10-11 weeks.
