Dutch Passion 35th anniversary outlook for 2022

2021 was a special year for Dutch Passion. There were 9 new cannabis cup victories (see the full list of cannabis cup wins) and plenty of highly satisfied customers. 2021 saw a massive increase in the number of licensed, legal cannabis growers responding to increasingly liberal cannabis laws. The future for the cannabis community has never looked more encouraging.

Some of the professional growers using Dutch Passion seeds are seeing some great results, with several strains producing independent lab tests showing 25-30% THC levels.

Despite Brexit, UK growers can still buy their Dutch Passion seeds without any issues. Every day, plenty of seeds are shipped without issues to the UK. Seeds are shipped in regular envelopes (which fit through your letter box, no signature required) via the Royal Mail and are not subject to import duties. UK growers needn't worry at all about buying their seeds direct from the Dutch Passion website. It’s very much business as usual for UK seed buyers.

European cannabis laws continue to improve

Malta and Italy have already signalled plants to legalise/liberalise their cannabis laws. This is great news for European growers and increasingly influences cannabis politics elsewhere in Europe. France has an election year coming, French cannabis lovers will be hoping for some long-awaited signs of progress to their own cannabis laws. Cannabis prohibition continues to lose ground and influence with every passing year.

Germany has recently announced plans of their own for some significant changes to cannabis laws once their new Government is up and running. That could mean that cannabis seed shipments for Germany (currently suspended) may be up for review.

Covid could, of course, change everything. But right now, the cannabis industry is hoping to go ahead with the 2022 expo tour. The events scheduled for Q1 are probably the most likely to be subject to review, but the three main expo’s Dutch Passion hope to attend in Q1 2022 are:

-    Spannabis (11-13 March)
-    Bangkok, Thailand (23-24 March)
