USA. New York State To Become 23rd State With Legal Medical Cannabis
The rest of the world look on as the USA continues converting state law to allow medical marijuana. The decision by the New York Assembly, Governor and Senate allows for medical use of cannabis to assist those people suffering from illnesses such as MS, cancer, AIDS, glaucoma as well as children struggling with epileptic type-seizure disorders.
The benefits of medical marijuana will affect thousands. Soon over half the of the USA will have cannabis legal, and at that point there will be some serious questions asked about the need to retain prohibition in the remaining states,
The decision in New York state is the result of many years of lobbying by various medical groups and patient representatives. Although the medical marijuana bill doesn’t go as far as many would like it is a strategically crucial, and highly populated, state which will encourage medical marijuana campaigners in other parts of the USA and beyond. Prohibition of cannabis is slowly being removed state by state. Its a message which is impossible to ignore elsewhere and great news for cannabis lovers all over the world.
