UK. University researchers think Cannabis could slow cancer progress
A research team from the UK University of East Anglia have been researching the effect of cannabis, and THC in particular, on the progress of cancer tumours. The work was carried out together with Madrid University, and the findings are not the first time that cannabis has been linked to cancer treatment.
The research team are careful not to claim that THC shrinks tumours, and even recommend that people don’t try cannabis themselves until a ‘safe synthetic equivalent’ is available. It’s interesting research, but why wait for a synthetic cannabis alternative when you can grow the plant yourself from seed?
